FGSE Round 7
The Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series is a series I really enjoy racing in. When they told me the next round would be on a golf course, there was no way I was going to miss it! I think that's every rider's dream, right? I was obviously looking forward to it.
The race went really well. I won 9 of the 12 tests over the weekend, building almost a two minute lead on the other riders by the end. I felt like I rode well and the bike worked great.
The course was insane! The cross test was just like they said it would be, on an actual golf course. We rode through fairways, carved lines in a sand bunker, and even jumped off a tee box! The layout was awesome, by far the best cross test the series has ever had. The enduro test was really tough and tricky, winding along severe off cambers and climbing some serious hills. It was really dry, so I'm glad I took off first all weekend and didn't have to fight the dust too much. Hats off to the promoter for making something as cool as this happen. I'm already looking forward to the next round!
